MOULIN DES PEZAUDS

Our vineyard covers an area of 9 hectares on the southern slopes of Monbazillac, in the Dordogne. The estate has existed for 3 generations, Nicolas Pruvost having taken over in 2002. The clay-limestone soil allows us to make the most of the traditional grape varieties of the Bergerac region.

OUR PRODUCTS

• The Monbazillac

When sugar and acidity are at the service of the fruit. This well-balanced wine is a perfect partner for your aperitifs or to accompany your foie gras but also a mature goat cheese. It can be kept for many years but can also be drunk now.

• IGP Rosé

Cabernet franc/Merlot

Ideal for your grills and summer salads. The IGP ROsé will delight you with its notes of raspberries and English sweets.

• IGP dry

This dry white wine harvested from the youngest parcels of Sauvignon on the estate goes well with fish dishes and shellfish thanks to its vivacity and freshness.

• IGP Moelleux "L'inspiration des Pezauds"

IGP Périgord mellow 100% sauvignon
Judicious harmony between sweetness and freshness. This wine is harvested by hand on the Sauvignon plots also used for the dry white wine.
Ideal for the aperitif or for a carpaccio of scallops.

• IGP Red

100% Merlot matured in oak barrels, the supple tannins of this wine will accompany your red meat and game dishes.

• Traditional method rosé

Cabernet franc 100%.
-fine bubbles
-a little sweetness
-and notes of raspberries
this is what summarizes the crémant, drunk as an aperitif or with a dessert always fresh.

THE SERVICES

• Tastings

We do tastings of our products on our property, from Monday to Saturday, the schedules can change, to confirm our presence as well as your coming, call us.
We also sell on the spot after the tasting.

• Le Galopin - Rental

Our wooden caravan is a mobile bar of 6 m2, in which we have a fridge, a freezer, a beer machine and an ice maker. It can be rented for various events. The rate varies according to the need, that is to say how long you want to rent it, if you need staff, or other.

OUR EVENTS

Evening with meal and concert
Every Friday evening during the summer, starting at 7:30 pm, we organize evenings with meals and concerts at the Moulin des Pezauds in Monbazillac. The entrance is free and the dishes (for a fee) can be chosen from different stands. You can choose what you want to eat throughout the evening.
