    • Located in the heart of the Dropt Valley, not far from the main roads along the Dordogne, the Lot and the Garonne, the Eymet Country occupies a privileged space, at the southern gateway to the Périgord, at the crossroads of history and modernity.

For lovers of old stones and preserved nature, for discerning gourmets, the Eymet Country opens its terroir. A terroir made up of communities of communes, which has kept a human dimension, quality products, landscapes of calm and harmony that invite you to walk and discover a rich and varied heritage. A terroir with many possibilities of reception and accommodation. A terroir, finally, that likes to retain the visitor. Sometimes forever !

Eymet is the economic centre of this country, offering all the services and amenities of a small town, combining the charm of yesteryear with the comfort of today, combining softness of life and conviviality: shops, sports, cultural, social and leisure facilities, multiple activities, historical heritage, quality catering, camping ** ideally located in the shade of the castle, on the edge of Dropt. Because Eymet is one of the rare bastides in the southwest of France to have been built on the banks of a river. A specificity that makes it all the more interesting.

Nice square, but overall not worth the visit. The town needs to try harder to make it a "go to" destination.

Superb coffee and a lovely friendly lady . She has a selection of "Old School" games to play whilst you wait for your crepes, or cakes or croissants.
