The 13th century bastide of Beaumont du Périgord was built in 1272 by Edward I, King of England. A walk through Beaumont inevitably takes you back to the Middle Ages with its imposing fortress church, the Porte de Luziers, its fortified houses with screen walls, its narrow streets...
Welcoming visitors, the Pays Beaumontois will charm you with its bucolic walks to discover our countryside, on foot or on horseback over its 100 km of marked trails.
In July and August, discover the fortified town in an original way: a dramatized tour on Thursday at 9:30 p.m.Information and reservations at the Tourist Information Point.
Schedules :- July-August: Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday morning 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- February to June and September to October: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- November, December and January : Tuesday 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
