Kanoak is a small family structure that rents canoes and kayaks for trips on the water along the Vézère. 2 nautical bases are available for a departure from Montignac or Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère. Just choose from one of the 3 routes available in St-Léon (generally easier) and one of the 4 routes from Montignac (for those who want up to 20 km of river walk).
The Vézère Valley is a perfect place for discovering canoeing with family or friends. The Vézère is a calm river, which makes pretty meanders (we say cingles in the region), between the villages. There are beautiful castles (Château de Losse, Château de Belcayre, Château de Clérans in Saint-Léon), impressive cliffs like La Roque Saint-Christophe and green landscapes all around you. Small beaches allow you to stop and admire these beauties, take a break, swim or have a picnic. The Vézère is easy to navigate, the Kanoak team will give you all the advice you need for good practice and a peaceful descent.
