In the valley of man in the heart of the black Perigord, 5 mm from Lascaux IX and Lascaux II in Montignac sur Vézère, come and discover an authentic site steeped in history.
Coming to Régourdou is to discover the extraordinary destiny of Roger Constant, the inventor of the site. Thanks to his perseverance this man passionate about prehistory uncovered after several years of research, the complete skeleton of a young neanderthal, this grave is considered to date as the oldest in Western Europe (90,000 B.P).

An exceptional guided tour is offered on this archaeological site classified historical monument. This immersion in the time of Néandertal, will allow you to discover the life and environment of these fascinating men who deliver the first symbolic concerns of humanity.
You will make an exciting journey to meet your ancestor, the Neanderthal man. You will discover along a guided, shaded path, the gisement, the gouffre, the parks of the bears living the museum. Visits for all audiences, adapted for young and old alike.
