  A calm, quiet space just a block from the center of the city. Staff was very helpful. When the taxi to the train station did not arrive, one of the Staff took us in his own car. Above and beyond!

  Great location, comfy beds and rooms. Be ready for lots of stairs, limited elevator use available. This did not bother us at all, we did not have much luggage. This is something to consider if limited mobility and/or lots of luggage.

  I had a great experience at Hotel La Couleuvrine. The hotel staff were great, the location was perfect for me to see that area of France. My main focus was to see castles. I felt like I was in a movie and taken back in time. Within 15-20 minutes of this location, there are castles everywhere. I had a field day. Also, the hotel was within a very short walk to the main square that had live street performances at night, drinks, and places to shop. I am already trying to figure out my next trip to France because of this experience and Sarlet will be on the list and La Couleuvrine will be my stay.
