    Excellent food, outstanding location, very good service. This was the highlight dinner of our stay in Dordogne. The wines are to die for. Any bio is e em better. Oh my! We chose the menu, because it’s quintessential of the region. Flavours and specialties, from starters to dessert, carefully selected to elate your experience. Go for it!     It is not easy to eat in France if you are a South African with each fiber in your body. A BIG no-no is rare or medium rare meat. In France, you will receive a terrible attitude from chefs when you ask for lamb, pork, beef, or chicken to be thoroughly cooked, 99% of the time. This establishment's staff could speak proper English, had a delightful attitude when asked for our steaks to be well done, delivered the meal fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked! The BEST MEAL we have had in Bordeaux thus far, and believe it or not, we have eaten at each so-called FAMOUS Michelin Star Restaurant in this region. There is a BIG difference between art on a plate and wholesome, flavoursome, honest food. Give me farm to table any day, especially on memorable and special days!

    Great atmosphere, staff were really nice, we really enjoyed our evening. Had the veggie risotto which was delicious and partner had filet de boeuf with foie gras. The filet was a bit on small side though for 35 euros and too much salad with a very vinaigry vinaigrette. Creme brulee was nice but the walnut cake was so dry and not enjoyable. Would have like to see more veggie options for the menus. Waiter recommended us a very nice wine ans overall we enjoyed our night.
