    • What is the Museum / Bistro "The Street of Passing Time"?

Imagine being able to go back in time, for the time of a walk in the shopping streets of the beginning of the last century. The time when electricity and running water were not part of everyday life, the time when the automobile made its first turns of wheels, the time when the knife grinder sharpened your knives in the street, the time when the shoemaker made your shoes…

A surprising atmosphere where you can feel the soul of things. As soon as you enter, you enter another universe where time seems to have stopped, it is not a simple hangar where a whole bunch of old stuff is piled up, quite the contrary, you wander through beautiful streets with cobblestones, strewn with shops, workshops and stalls from the old days with authentic and neat storefronts, at a time when wood, steel and glass had not yet been replaced by the cold and lifeless materials of the modern world.

It was originally a father and his daughter who initiated the creation of spaces, reconstructing scenes from life in the past, initially intended to showcase several old cars. From this passion was born the most unusual garage in the entire Region: a Street from the 1900s…

This free walk is accompanied by the passage of the "Certificate of Study" (search for anachronisms)...

The Bistrot is accessible to all without a visit with its terrace on the banks of the Dordogne.

I ADORE ! As a fan of "old things", I am served! There is a lifetime of collections of all kinds, this museum lives up to its name, time flies very quickly there! The staff is very welcoming, thank you to the team and the owner who brought back all these beautiful things to see and see again!

Magnificent museum with a written test throughout the visit to keep you entertained. My partner and I loved this museum, we are looking forward to our next vacation to return. A museum with lots of memories and nostalgia of times before, it is worth visiting. The history of this museum is so beautiful.
