Domain le Pré Vert, a vineyard to visit in the heart of the Dordogne
Yasuko and Guillaume are two passionate winegrowers, based in Razac-de-Saussignac, 20 minutes from Bergerac in the Dordogne. On a 9-hectare estate, they work the grapes from cultivation to vinification with values that respect the environment. Their method is ecological with the use of green manures and sheep for grazing, on a hillside vineyard where everything is done to revive biodiversity. Their Périgord Wine Country or French Wine wines are fresh and supple, reflecting the imprint of the vintage. Red wine, white wine or rosé wine, they are all certified organic with biodynamic cultivation to limit inputs in their production. Go through the door of their cellar, a little oenological treasure where you can taste delicious vinified grapes. In 2020, they even made an orange wine from the Semillon grape, whose berries were macerated for several weeks.
