I've heard so much about this place, so maybe my expectations were too high, but I was underwhelmed. Then I thought about all the time and enery that goes into coordinating all the different local farmers and how incredibly important it is to shop local and I thought how lucky we are to live somewhere that is so abundant in quality produce. We shouldn't care if carrots are straight, etc. And large supermarkets are part of the problem. Shops like this are part of the solution, and we should support them. Being ignorant about growing seasons, I would love to know which fruits and vegetables are in season when, round here... it wouldn't need to be a guarantee of availability, but it would give some indication and might be a useful way of promoting their important work.

Good selection from many different vendors. Staff was very nice & the quality of what they sell is great! Definitely worth getting your veg, eggs, cheeses, fruits, bread here if you need a one stop shop but also want to get as local as possible & avoid the supernarché as much as possible.
