NICOLAS GUITTET, like two of his brothers, was attracted to working with glass at a very young age. He began with a torch training, provided by his brother Dominique and then began in the Parisian workshop of Joël FRESSARD.
Then, for 8 years, he worked in Rocamadour. In the 1980s, he created VERRERIE DE CORDES-SUR-CIEL, which he sold in 2005. In 2007, with his companion Guillemette Rivaux, he built his studio in the Périgord Noir, in "Puyvendran" (24260 Savignac-de-Miremont).
It is in Limeuil (24510) on the road to Trémolat, 150m from the port, that he has set up his new workshop: L'Atelier du Verre Soufflé.
Passionate about his profession and in particular cane- blown glass, Nicolas has been trained throughout his career. It was with Eric LAURENT that he acquired his initial knowledge.
