Brasserie la Chavagn', established in Coly-Saint-Amand between Terrasson and Montignac-Lascaux, is the fruit of a passion transformed into a real brewing profession. With seventeen years of experience, including five as a brewer, its founder gave birth to this adventure in November 2013.

In the heart of the Périgord Noir: an exceptional terroir

Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the Brasserie la Chavagn' takes advantage of an exceptional setting, anchored in the town of Coly since 2016. This small village of 220 inhabitants, bathed by the Coly river, provides pure water, used with care in the manufacturing process of Chavagn' beers.

The brewery's approach is based on eco-responsible choices. It favors the use of French malts and hops, local raw materials such as cereals and fruits, excluding any manufacturing aids or preservatives. In addition, to reduce its environmental impact and support local employment, the brewery sources its packaging from regional suppliers.

An authentic range inspired by the Black Périgord

Brasserie la Chavagn' offers a wide range of classic, fruity or craft beers, all brewed in an artisanal manner. The process, devoid of any additives, uses Coly spring water, malts, regional cereals and 100% French hops.

The classics collection unveils six unique beers, highlighting the authenticity of the recipes. La Chavagn' invites you to rediscover already familiar flavors, but revisited to surprise your palate.

Craft beer: travel with a taste of elsewhere

The Craft Beer range, brewed from traditional raw materials, transports you to the world of craft beers from across the Channel and across the Atlantic. An original taste experience, designed in the heart of the Dordogne.

Fruity ones: delicacies with local flavors

The fruity collection offers you original beers combining the delights of chestnuts from Dordogne and fresh raspberries from Corrèze. Let yourself be tempted by this brewing delicacy, a symbol of local know-how.

The store: discover, consume, appreciate

At the brewery, the experience doesn't stop with the tasting. You can enjoy our beers on site and purchase them in our store. There, the entire range is at your disposal, accompanied by derivative products and artisanal items made with our beers.

Free tours and tastings

For individuals, visits and tastings are free. For groups of ten people or more, prior reservation is required. The brewery, located on the GR461 between Coly and Saint Amand-de-Coly, also welcomes hikers for picnic drinks, favoring house drinks.

Hours: easy access all year round

Opening hours adapt to the seasons, ensuring regular access to the brewery throughout the year. From September to the end of June, Tuesday and Friday are dedicated to discovery from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In July and August, the brasserie welcomes you Monday from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Sunday morning on the Saint-Geniès market. April to October.

Loan of dispensers: your event, our brewing

La Chavagn' invites itself to your festive events with 20 or 30 L barrels. The loan of taps adapted to your request is free, offering an authentic touch to your celebrations.
