  Hired a canoe for a 15km 3 hour trip down the Dordogne with Canoe Azur in Vitrac. The river was quite fast running so little was needed in the way of paddling. It was absolutely beautiful, lovely birdsong and stunning scenery with chateaux dotting the landscape. There were several bars/restaurants along the riverbank. We stopped off and bought a few beers and had a picnic. Our finishing point was at Beynac where we were picked up by minibus and returned to Vitrac. Canoe Azur staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend and do again if we return.

  Rented 4 kayaks and 1 Canadian canoe for the 15 km trip on the Dordogne. Good material, clear instructions, friendly staff. The time of transport back to the campsite could be an hour earlier, because we got to the end point quite quickly. All in all an excellent experience!

  Being on vacation at the Bouysse campsite, we took advantage of Canoe Azur located on site: to do the routes downstream then upstream of Vitrac and it was truly magnificent! Very friendly welcome, quick and efficient organization.
