Discover the natural ecosystem of the Dordogne, one of the cleanest rivers in France (Biosphere Reserve by Unesco), and admire the flourishing nature that surrounds you. Fauna, flora, stone buildings, charming villages, mills and cluzeaux

, the region of Bergerac is rich in an interesting cultural heritage to discover in an unusual way. Family and warm, the team will tell you the story of the Dordogne during a stroll in the calm of the water. When the weather is nice, end your excursion with a wine tasting at Vins de Bergerac Duras.

The Gabarres de Bergerac, adapted circuits on the Dordogne

A pleasant approximately 50-minute cruise with a guide who informed us about the natural environment, the history of Bergerac and the famous figure of Cyrano.

The tour for the boat trip was 11 euro and was reasonable value. They only accept cash which was a downside. The tour guide did this in English and French but only spoke for a few minutes since there is not much to see on the boat trip. It is great for a peaceful ride around Bergerac so I would go on this again.

Great location right next to the car park in Bergerac. The guide book was not in English, but the girl who did the tour took the time to chat to our small group separately and explain all that could be seen. A great chance to see all sorts of wildlife, if you are lucky you will get to see the king fishers along the river bank too.
