  10/2024: After 5 years we were finally able to book a room again. It was again one of the highlights of our vacation. The excellent cuisine alone is worth every detour. Thank you for your consummate hospitality. 2019: How nice that hotels like this still exist! If you are looking for peace and quiet, like hiking and love nature, this is the right place for you. Located on a hill, the guest has a wonderful panorama. The house is also an ideal starting point for many attractions in the area (e.g. Lascaux). The hotel consists of the historic main building and two newer, separate annexes. The rooms (some of which are barrier-free) are large, friendly, bright and sparkling clean. We were also pleased with the bathroom because of its comfortable size and furnishings. In general, the entire furnishings are of high quality, but still unobtrusive and dignified. And then the restaurant: amazing! It's worth choosing half board here. Every day there are fresh 4-course menus with predominantly regional products. In the separate breakfast room (winter garden) you will find a well-stocked buffet. The whole thing is embedded in a park-like property with a fallow deer and donkey enclosure. The friendly owners also speak English and are happy to accommodate special requests if possible. Almost everything has been thought of here, including disabled people and dog owners. At this point we would like to express our thanks again to all the employees who made such relaxing days possible for us. We'll definitely come back.
