Good French brasserie with classic French menu. The reason we chose it as it had vegetarian options, which are limited around here. Duck was cooked to perfection and one of the best hubby had. 😋 Vegetarian pasta was delicious as well. It needed a bit of salt. Had to ask for salt and table sauces overall enjoyable meal 🙂 A nice find in the heart of Sarlat.

This place deserves more than its 4 stars. We almost didn’t stop, because others described it as “touristy.” That would have been a mistake. Our food was delicious! I had the roast chicken; my husband had one of the omelets. Both were excellent! The service was quick and friendly and patient with us non-French speakers. The restaurant is right on the main square, so it was both convenient and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent menu, large range, local foods, set lunch menu too which was great! Staff were excellent, location was fantastic in the square and good value!

The staff and owner were absolutely great and gave us the warmest of welcomes, and made us feel special throughout our visit. Lovely food and drink also helped :)
