This is a beautiful hotel with a stunning view of the river valley. It is beautifully situated in a very quaint village. It has an excellent restaurant that enjoys amazing views. It was a perfect location for exploring the region, but it definitely was a place where you need a car.

I think I got a dud room. It was small and outdated. There was a bad odor seemingly from the A/C that never subsided. The bathroom amenities had been updated but the walls looked like a child's art project. Thankfully, this is. It somewhere you stay to hang out in the room. The breakfast and hospitality were wonderful and the view on the river side is hard to beat. If you're considering staying here, don't be dissuaded by my review. Just ask for room 8 -- I got a leak when heading out and it looked beautifully updated complete with a river view.

One of the most unpleasant experiences in France. From the first moment when we entered the restaurant, everything was very very unfriendly. The main waiter was unpleasant because after the aperitif we asked him to give us some time to think about what we were going to order. His nervousness and attitude because of that were such that he hit me hard when he was passing by and if my hand was injured, he saw it. Of course, he didn't even say sorry, and our mistake was that we didn't leave the restaurant immediately. When we ordered the main course, he insisted that we immediately order dessert, explaining that it was easier that way. I don't know what made him act like that, maybe because we are foreigners, but this kind of attitude and behavior is not acceptable anywhere and they really need to think about everything. Especially since they are there for the guests, who pay dearly for their not-so-tasty and not-so-large dishes. The prices are too high for such service and food, the only thing worth it is the beautiful view of the valley.
