    • The Château de Villars is a small private castle in the heart of the Périgord Vert countryside, we welcome you by reservation for a tailor-made stay. The castle has 5 rooms all different as well as a pretty summer house on a green estate of 3 hectares.

      The outdoor areas are accessible and private just for you. The castle terrace overlooking the park will offer you absolute relaxation. The bar is accessible 24 hours a day. You will have a heated swimming pool to relax in and several outdoor relaxation areas.

      Our castle, located between Brantôme, Thiviers and Nontron, is an ideal place to recharge your batteries and discover our beautiful region and its tourist sites.

      We are open from May to the end of September.

      Come stay in a peaceful and quiet place.

    Magnifique manoir. Piscine très agréable. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Par contre, chambre un peu petite qui a besoin d'un coup de rafraîchissement.

    Positieve maar ook negatieve items. De fotos op de site en booking komen niet meer overeen met de werkelijkheid. Positief: Het zwembad is fijn en kraakhelder Het is in de nacht stil buiten. Zeer vriendelijke jongedame en heer. Badkamer is oke, kamers zijn klein. Klein ontbijtje, op zijn Frans. Negatief: Kamers zijn gehorig. Kan ook niet anders bij een oud chateau 😉 Als je wat later terugkomt is er geen verlichting op het terras. Eigenaar gaat zelf bbq en op het terras van het chateau, terwijl zijn huis 25 meter ernaast staat met de muziek voluit. Je voelt je dan niet echt welkom. Wat mis ik: Onderhoud! Onkruid tussen de tegels van het zwembad zijn not done. Zo ook het kapotte zonnebed. Zo nog wat andere zaken. Vind dat persoonlijk erg jammer. Je kunt het echt heel makkelijk naar een hoger niveau tillen, en voor 150€ per nacht mag je dat ook verwachten. Bijgevoegde fotos zijn een impressie, het is zeker een mooi plekje en centraal in de Dordogne.
