    • Located near two major sites of Périgord that are the Bastide de Monpazier and the Castle of Biron, the Moulin de David welcomes you in a valley of 16 ha. You will stay in a place where the authentic and the natural are omnipresent. This family campsite, crossed right through by a stream, is unlike any other.

There you will find, for pitching your tent or setting up your caravan, spacious pitches of 100 to 180 m², partially shaded or sunny, never far from one of the 3 sanitary blocks. If you want to rent accommodation, you will find 2 or 3 bedroom mobile homes and canvas lodges with or without sanitary facilities.
And if they are under 5 years old, just like their parents, they will love the "Baby Square", a landscaped area of 400m² created especially for them.

The older children are not forgotten because the youth club host offers them many activities. In addition to the 200m² swimming pool and its paddling pool, a 600m² natural swimming bordered by a grassy beach and fed by the water from the stream hosts a water slide, a giant inflatable swing placed on water and a huge shaded sandpit.

In the evening, quality entertainment is offered to you with a "live" concert every Thursday. Another particularity of the Moulin de David is the catering. You can have lunch or dinner at the campsite brasserie, where most of the dishes served are homemade and where many of the vegetables come from our organic vegetable garden developed according to the rules of permaculture.

We’ve had a fabulous week at this campsite. The owner and staff are so friendly. Amazing cleanliness of the shower blocks and pool. So many activities and inclusive animation in the evening. No matter what nationality all were made to feel welcome. The on-site restaurant was great for a couple of nights too. We stumbled across this site as a last min and are so glad we find it. Pretty Monpazier is a 45 min walk along woodland paths, fields and quiet roads. Chateau Biron only 3km and lovely rolling cycling all around.

Very nice campsite. It’s large and stretched out over a little valley. We were staying in the Kenya lodge, which was well equipped and in a nice shady and quiet area of the campsite. The only negative about the tent is the beds, they are too short for large Dutch people. It is quite a walk from there to the pool or lake. There is plenty to do for the kids, but in the end there is not great animation ( only French speaking when we were there) that creates coherence between the kids. There is plenty of entertainment focussed on adults. The restaurant is ok as long as you stick with a pizza or a hamburger 🙈. Quite close to medieval towns, bastille’s, the Dordogne river and the Biron castle. Nice owners and helpful staff 👍 We had a good time !

I was at the campsite for one night off-season with sore feet after a long walk so didn't get to use the totality of the offering. Nevertheless, I was made to feel extremely welcome and the host went out of his way to make me feel at home. Very nice IPA from Sarlat as well! Bravo monsieur. The pitch for the tent was good and the adjacent showers and toilets were exactly what I needed. Monpazier is about 2 miles away and is a spectacular mediaeval walled town famous for its artists. Well worth a proper explore. I hope you get a chance to visit. Aye. Fraser.
