    • Delmond Foies Gras, the richness of Périgord enhanced with quality products

      A périgourdin expertise

In Périgord, for almost a century, DELMOND Foies gras has been processing and marketing authentic and refined products based on Périgord fattened ducks. Coming from controlled agriculture, the products are checked at each stage and certified IGP since 2012, a guarantee of freshness and quality. Proximity and sharing, these are the values defended by the brand which seeks excellence in each of its traditional products. Rediscover the true taste of Périgord with Delmond Foies Gras!

      Complete mastery of the sector

One of Delmond Foies Gras' strengths is its ability to control the entire production chain. The company controls each stage, from ducks rearing to the final processing of the products. This rigorous management ensures flawless traceability, a guarantee of quality and confidence for consumers.

The establishment of Delmond Foies Gras in Périgord allows the company to promote local agricultural resources, while preserving traditional methods of foie gras production.

The products, whether fresh, canned or frozen, are distributed throughout the country, in particular thanks to obtaining higher level IFS certification in 2014, thus enabling them to integrate into large-scale distribution networks.

      Responsible and sustainable production

In addition to its commitment to quality, Delmond Foies Gras has been able to adapt to contemporary issues, particularly by integrating environmentally friendly practices. The company promotes sustainable agriculture, in collaboration with local producers, members of the Terres du Sud cooperative.

This approach aims to reconcile agricultural production with environmental concerns, ensuring a balance between tradition and innovation.

Duck farming meets strict criteria, both for their diet and their well-being. This model ensures not only the quality of the products, but also their traceability, from breeding to shipping.

      Shops to discover local products

In addition to its production sites, Delmond Foies Gras has two shops in Dordogne: one located in Boulazac Isle Manoire and the other in Vézac. These spaces allow lovers of Périgord gastronomy to discover a varied range of products, from foie gras to duck breasts, including confits and other specialties.

Visitors can find products from the IGP Périgord, demonstrating the company's strong local roots.

These points of sale are also an opportunity to learn more about the history of the Delmond house, which combines know-how and innovation .

To discover around Boulazac Isle Manoire

The surroundings of Boulazac Isle Manoire, located a few kilometers from Périgueux , are full of sites of interest and activities to discover.

For hiking enthusiasts, the Périgord offers varied and hilly landscapes, between forests and rivers. Among the trails to explore, we can mention those around the Isle Valley, which allow you to immerse yourself in the Périgord nature.

Less than 10 kilometers away, the city of Périgueux attracts visitors for its historical heritage, including the Saint-Front Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Vesunna Museum, meanwhile, offers a dive into the Gallo-Roman era of the region.

Picturesque villages such as Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère or Montignac-Lascaux are also popular destinations for strolling and discovering local architecture. This area is full of small producers who offer local products: cheeses, wines, and even Périgord walnuts.

Local markets are another way to explore the flavors of the region.

In Périgueux, the weekly market (Saturday morning) is full of fresh produce, from black truffles to foie gras, including porcini mushrooms.

Whether for a walk in the countryside or to discover the cultural riches of the region, Boulazac Isle Manoire is located near the emblematic territories of the Périgord Noir, the Périgord Pourpre and the Périgord Vert. Being positioned almost at the nerve center of these three areas, this town is an ideal starting point to explore the various facets of the Périgord and its terroir.

Great product but sometimes little hiccups. I bought from you on Thursday 3 kgs of duck hearts that I had ordered on Monday and a little surprise, not serious of course, but given the current situation a euro is a euro, and we were surprised to find on the top of the package a piece of fat which must have completed the weight 80 gr 😪 I took a photo to prove my good liver. That said, they were excellent.

A big duck "eater" (as my nickname indicates, harvest in Rocamadour) I was able to appreciate the candied Delmont thighs due to a promotion in the store in my commune in Haut Limousin, there was of course no disappointment in waiting faithfully to the habits of producers in the southwest and Quercy. We recommend without any doubt.
