The name of our restaurant comes from the famous Troubadour Bertrand de Born, Lord of Hautefort in the Middle Ages.
Périgord is a country that can be visited first with the mouth. It is a so-called peasant cuisine but many city dwellers would like to become peasants to taste without ceremony a scramble of truffles or a pan-fried foie gras accompanied by 'a glass of Monbazillac.
