This was our 5th visit to this restaurant over a number of years. As anticipated, the food and service were excellent, with a varied choice of exquisite dishes and a good range of wines to accompany them. We would certainly recommend visiting this restaurant, but suggest you make a reservation.

Lovely menu, and location, service was good overall, but the younger girl waiting tables seemed to actively change her friendliness level from happy and smiling to much less friendly when dealing with British tables. Food was great, but the French fries (admittedly not the best measure in such a good place) seemed like frozen chips. A small thing, but still... All in all the starters and the desserts were the highlights, mains a little less so.

Set in a valley in the shadow of a beautiful church and surrounded by greenery, the service was excellent and the food great. Worth a drive.
