Originally from Auvergne, Sabrina and Bastien also invite you to discover some recipes ... You can therefore eat on their beautiful shaded and flowery terrace or in their air-conditioned veranda.
  
  A little thirst? Refresh yourself and relax in the small garden sheltered by the plane mulberry trees. In winter, enjoy an excellent meal by the huge stone fireplace.

My friend and I just completed a week long stay at Hôtel le Cygne on a visit to Le Bugue and environs. The family run hotel and its staff couldn’t have been sweeter and more responsive. The hotel restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast set up. Le Bugue was a great base for exploring the Périgord and the twice a week market was a real bonus. And a shout out to the nearby Cafe d’l’ Union for late morning cafe and early evening aperitif.

Worst meal ever. 4 of us came for dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday. We all live in the area and speak French but were treated like second rate tourists. Meal almost inedible, wine extortionate, service abysmal. None of us would ever return - shame because location lovely and previous meals with former owners were always excellent. Have not heard any good reports from friends since then sadly.

Excellent meal this evening. The front of house lady spoke excellent English and her husband was also working there. I had the 3 course set menu and the portions were huge. The pork was melting in your mouth and lovely garlicky chimichuri to go with it. Strawberry Pavlova was out of this world! My daughter loved her fish & chips and vanilla ice cream. Superb service and a lovely setting. One of the nicest meals we’ve had in Dordogne - thank you so much.
