A very charming campsite on the water's edge. We spent 15 days there in a tent and it was really good. Quiet campsite and not invaded by mobile homes. Owners concerned about everyone's well-being. Possibility of having bread and pastries every morning and renting a fridge is super practical. In short, a great stay in a beautiful and quiet traditional campsite like we find less and less often.

What a wonderful, small-scale, charming campsite! An idyllic French campsite, with many French guests, some English and Belgians. We rented a house and this was a great house. Camping pitches are large and beautiful places to stay. Owners very friendly, humorous and always there for you and speak little English, but with Google translate you can go a long way. The campsite is very neat and well maintained. Green and beautiful plants everywhere. Trampoline, good and clean swimming pool and river where you can fish/swim can become. Sometimes there is a band or a DJ and you can get fries or a hamburger there every evening or sit on the terrace. You can order some sandwiches in the evening for the morning. You can also walk from the campsite. Children of all languages seek each other out. I don't understand why it is said that the French are very stiff: all guests were friendly and sociable. Near Périgueux, where you can also do your shopping. We had such a great time, just throwing Dutch principles aside and enjoying the wonderful French life!
