  Take to the skies for an unusual night in a perched hut. The pretty Skylark overlooks the private pond and welcomes you to a cozy little nest, a cocoon in the middle of nature built manually by Sara. With its jacuzzi heated over a wood fire and its breathtaking view of the sparkling water point and the magnificent Landais forest, you will be charmed as soon as you arrive. The tranquility and beauty of the place offer you a soothing and relaxing setting, a perfect and timeless moment. The 11 windows bathe the cabin in light, while on the 2nd floor a large king size bed awaits you for a comfortable night in the highest branches of the tree. Walk through the forest and discover two other marvels where you can be pampered, unusual wooden rentals where you can escape without climbing.

  In a magnificent forest, let yourself be transported by the beauty of the place. Flowered fields, green oaks, woods with colored leaves, nature imposes itself and welcomes you in perfectly integrated constructions. The materials selected are local or from the forest itself, which offers oak for the roofs, locust for the foundations and clay for the earth rendering. Everything is organic and made with respect, in a unique and relaxing setting. Designs, sculptures, installations, everything has been imagined and created by hand by Sara, who overflows with energy and creativity. To observe the stars, you have binoculars while bicycles allow you to cross the woods. Come accompanied, dogs are accepted!

What a captivating place! The caru cabin overlooks a beautiful serene pond in which you can have a refreshing swim. The atmosphere Sara has created is really phenomenal - the space has everything you need. The natural surroundings are breathtaking. Sara and Pierre are extremely accommodating and welcoming. They provided us with everything we needed and made us feel at home. The cabin is hidden and extremely private, giving you the feeling of total tranquility. We borrowed bikes which were fantastic - we spent 3 days cycling and exploring the picturesque country side. Sarah has created a fantastic website which details all the local areas to visit. It really is breathtaking and we can’t wait to visit again.

We had a lovely time staying in Sara’s treehouse. She is obviously passionate about sustainability and has lovingly created a beautiful retreat in the woods a few steps from their private lake (with a surprisingly sandy bottom and the perfect temperature!). The only difficult part of the day was where to hang out…on the swing seat by the lake, in the little rowing boat, on the jetty, in the wood fired hot tub, on the loungers or swing seats on the deck… We enjoyed several BBQs and would recommend bringing what you need as there aren’t any local shops and once you’re there you won’t want to leave! The area has some lovely quiet lanes for cycling but it’s tempting not to leave at all as this place really is a treat! Thank you Sara.

Wow - what an amazing place! Sara and Pierre are so friendly, they have created a very special beautiful calm oasis. We loved staying in Skylark, it has been built to an incredibly high standard, it was perfectly clean and tidy with all the amenities you could want. It made cooking super easy and fun. Stunning views can be seen from each window and you feel truly immersed in mother nature. the cherry on the top is the wood fired hot tub and the rowing boat you can take out in the lake. Can't wait to come back again and try all of their other creations! The only negative is that the sofabed is very very small and not really fit for two people so one of us slept on a sunlounger cushion! Something to consider when booking if you are a group of four full sized adults. Perfect for a couple or people with a young family. Would highly recommend to all!
