La Closerie des Arts, gites in the Périgord Noir
La Closerie des Arts is a charming property, set in an old 18th century farmhouse, completely restored with taste and passion by Thierry Le Cocq, which has been welcoming guests since 2014. After having traveled to the four corners of the world, it is in the North of the Périgord Noir, that Thierry put down his suitcases and chose to open his family home to holidaymakers looking for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere!
You can rent two guest rooms, as well as two self-contained gite-type units.
The Chestnut Studio is 29m², it overlooks a family patio of 200m2 to share with plancha, family table... There is a private bathroom and a kitchenette. Guests can thus be independent and cook the delights of Périgord. You have Internet access and a television in the studio. Bed linen and towels will be provided, as well as toiletries.
Chalet Edelweiss is 39m² and has a private bathroom and a master bedroom, as well as a kitchen area. Take advantage of the superb veranda with a view of the countryside. You will be welcomed with a welcome drink, a basket of delicacies. Bed linen, towels and a small toiletries kit are provided. You have Internet access and there is a television in the chalet. The chalet can be rented all year round, it has heating.
To entertain you, games are available for the whole family: Ping-Pong Table, Adult Foosball, English or American Billiards, Darts. Nature is omnipresent around the house, 3ha of park and forest await you but also a secure swimming pool and a pétanque court. To have fun with family and friends, play ball in the park, take advantage of archery workshops and dance workshops for all levels (depending on the season).
In the heart of nature, La Closerie des Arts is located north of Thenon, it is an ideal location, a little away from the main tourist routes, but only a few minutes drive from the most beautiful places in Périgord! You are at the crossroads of Black, White and Green Périgord, about 25 minutes from Périgueux, but also 20 minutes from Montignac, the Lascaux Caves and the most beautiful sites in the Vézère Valley. For lovers of hiking and mountain biking, there are many from La Closerie des Arts, you can also quickly go to the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park, which begins in Périgord Vert.
