Slow Village Périgord has a lot to other such as a clear and fast flowing river called "ceou" which has easy access for swimmers.If not a big fan of wild swimming then I'm sure you'd love to swim in one of three pools. As you enter, the welcoming staff will show you fun activities (around the local area). There's a shop where you may buy clothing and accessories. Overall, I rate this place a 5/5 because of the welcoming service, the cozy rooms and the tranquil location.

Lovely private pitches spread throughout the forest. Nice for semi shaded camping add it can get very hot in the summer. Best of all, it's in the hills so tends to cool down at night and first thing in the morning. Showers, toilets and washing facilities are modern and clean. There are washing machines too. Good sized swimming pool which is heated with lots of sun loungers spread around. Very basic games room and play area for kids. Doesn't have a shop on site but beads can be ordered for delivery each day. An easy 3 minute drive to the local town with a reasonable supermarket and cafe.

Beautiful surroundings, large pitch, plenty of sun and shade and easy access with touring caravan. Relaxing went to sleep with sound of owl. Pool nice temperature with plenty of loungers. Great location for all best villages in Dordogne. Best showers yet in all time travelling in France. River and stream kept children occupied for hours.Well done Bel Ombrage.
