Former Royal Bastide from the 13th century, DOMME is perched on its vertiginous cliff offering from its belvedere an exceptional panoramic view over the DORDOGNE valley. The campsite is located 300 m from the river with easy access from the campsite's playground, and only 7 km from SARLAT-LA-CANEDA , Capital of Périgord Noir. Stopped off at Camping Le Bosquet for a short stay during our last touring holiday in June 2024. Called in on the off chance and we were accommodated in a large grass pitch close to the pool, although to be fair it's not far to walk from anywhere on site. Superbly located for Loisirs Canoe, which was not only a short walk away, but camping here gave a 10% discount. Pool was superb and much needed after a hot days' cycling or canoeing down the Dordogne. Facilities were clean and well maintained. The service was excellent and the fresh bread and croissants that one can order were really very good. Thoroughly recommended.

Un camping agréable, très bien situé à quelques encablures de la riviere Dordogne. Un excellent accueil, de beaux emplacements dans un camping à dimension humaine. Des sanitaires impeccables, une piscine chauffée. Plein de belles choses à découvrir autour du camping.

Renting a lodge tent for a week, a first for us and we are very happy with it. Spacious and well equipped. Quiet and pleasant family campsite, the pitches are well shaded. The owners are friendly, always smiling, don't hesitate to advise you when you need information. The swimming pool (open until 9 p.m.) is really a plus for cooling off at the end of the day. We will come back, for sure.
