      Le Relais de la Renaissance is a charming bed and breakfast establishment located in Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne, just 12 km from Saint-Émilion and 42 km from Bergerac. Open from April 6, 2024 to October 31, this place offers an authentic immersion in the culture and history of the region.

      Discover a relaxing and welcoming setting

      This house, 200 years old, was the heart of activity in the village of Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne. Formerly the village café and grocery store, it has retained all its old-world charm.

      In 2001, two terraced houses were brought together to create the Relais de la Renaissance, thus continuing a long tradition of welcome and conviviality.

      A haven of peace for hikers and cyclists

      The Relais de la Renaissance warmly welcomes hikers and cyclists. Specific equipment includes a closed shelter for bicycles, a repair kit and a washing area.

      Hiking or cycling enthusiasts will find here an ideal stopover to rest and recharge their batteries. In addition, the large wooded garden, equipped with deckchairs, tables and chairs, invites you to relax outdoors.

      Comfort and charm of the rooms

      The establishment offers four guest rooms, each carefully decorated to reflect the spirit of the region:

      1. Invitation to Travel
        • Family suite of 50 m².
        • Can accommodate 2 to 3 people, with a separate master bedroom and child bedroom.
        • Direct access to the terrace.
      2. The Enchanted Pool
        • Room of 25 m².
        • Ideal for one person or two people.
        • View of the garden.
      3. The meaning of words
        • Family suite of 50 m².
        • Can accommodate 2 to 3 people, with a separate master bedroom and child bedroom.
      4. Flower Stroll
        • Family Suite of 50 m².
        • Perfect for large families, can accommodate 2 to 5 people with space for three children and a master bedroom.

      Equipment and services included

      Each room is equipped with free WIFI , a mini fridge with a complimentary bottle of still water per person, and a hospitality tray including coffee, tea and infusion. A breakfast is included in the stay. Additional amenities such as baby cot, high chair and baby bath are available free of charge. Dogs are also accepted under certain conditions.

      The dining room and terrace are available for meals, with crockery, a microwave and a small electric oven.

      For groups, a large reception room of 50 m², equipped with an overhead projector, a sound system and a home cinema, is available free of charge for events or meetings.

      A garden for moments of conviviality

      The garden has been carefully landscaped to provide each room with a private space. Guests can also take advantage of a freely accessible plancha for outdoor meals. The large terrace is dedicated to breakfasts and encourages meetings between guests, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

      Exploring the wine region

      Located on the edge of the village, the Relais de la Renaissance is surrounded by vineyards recalling the importance of working the land and local festivities. The owners, although of Lorraine origin, have become lovers of this region and will be happy to guide visitors to discover the local treasures.

      Prices vary depending on the period:

      • Low period: March 1 to April 31 and October 1 to October 31.
      • Peak period: May 1 to September 30.
