Meyrals is a pretty little village to discover in the Périgord Noir, on the road to the Dordogne Valley. Also located near the Vézère Valley, it is a perfect base for lovers of peace and nature, but still within a reasonable distance from the most beautiful sites of the Dordogne! Strolling through it, you discover a charming heritage with beautiful ashlar stone houses, with classic Périgordine architecture. There are tourist and seasonal accommodation, a good restaurant and small shops. It is also a village of artists, with beautiful galleries there in fine weather. In the heart of the village, the Sait-Eutrope church, which dates from the 12th century. In the town, the Château de la Roque is listed but cannot be visited. On the other hand, the bernifal caves are accessible but only to the lucky ones, because there are very few visits to this private cavity.
