The 4-star Campsite la Rivière welcomes you to Les Eyzies, the capital of prehistory in Périgord Noir. Ideal holiday location to enjoy the cultural, tourist and heritage attractions of the Vézère Valley, you will have a great family holiday ! You are only 10 minutes walk from the town center of the village. The 127 pitches of the campsite are wide (approximately 100m2) and grassy, flat and pleasant. 3 modern and clean toilet blocks are spread over the pitch area. 17 mobile homes are also available, fully equipped and with a private wooden terrace. Let yourself be tempted by renting a large tent-lodge which is perfect for those who want to try glamping, chic and "glamorous" campsite when all you want is the advantages of campsite, without equipment and with the comfort of a real bed: beautiful and unusual accommodation with a private terrace. The campsite also offers the rental of studios and apartments in a former post house. They are open all year round and fully equipped for the autonomy of travellers.
Campsite La Rivière has 2 beautiful swimming pools, one of which is also heated. You will be welcomed with a smile and good advice on the organization of your stay. Installed on a large area of 7 ha, it is a family run establishment for 3 generations, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They work in their own way so that holidaymakers can enjoy a great holiday while respecting this exceptional natural environment: panels solar panels, presence detectors, education on saving water and electricity, washable linen (no more disposable!), highlighting local producers in the grocery store and at the snack bar, organic and seasonal products...
Several services are available at the campsite, a grocery store, a snack bar / bar which is open all day for breakfast, a meal on the go or take away picnic baskets, a bakery and library. Question entertainment, after swimming in the pool, children can have fun on the playgrounds, play table tennis or volleyball, while parents play a game of petanque. Canoe rental is possible directly from the campsite (handy!) and many hiking and mountain biking circuits leave directly from Les Eyzies. Activities are offered for children, families and at the snack bar / summer bar: children's shows, concerts, fun and meeting other holidaymakers in a friendly way.
