Originally from the North of France, they have pitched the tent and their life here, with a challenge in mind: to give a good holiday to their guests from all walks of life. La Castillonderie is an open-minded campsite , where all nationalities come together with kindness.

Those who love the comfort will be able to enjoy convenient and well located rentals . How about a pretty lodge hut on the edge of the forest, to be woken up to singing birds? Fishing enthusiasts will surely be happy to invest a lodge tent right in front of the fishing pond . Unusual rentals also have their place in the campsite, like the " coco sweet ", a kind of tent trailer. From Thonac , you are a few minutes walk from the Thot Park that children love. You can reach the pretty ponds of Fon Gran , which will take you (with a little climb), to the heights of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère , the Côte de Jor (and its superb view on the Valley of the Vézère) and the heights of Plazac . Join the village of Thonac to enjoy the presence of the sparkling river Vézère . You can stop, soak your feet or go canoeing . Cyclists are delighted in this region of Black Périgord, where sumptuous villages invite you to take a break between the laces of forest roads, as to Fanlac , Bars , Sergeac , a little further you will reach Aubas , Saint-Amand de Coly , the Aubareil Chapel . Nestled against the valley, it is not located on a road frequented by motorists, children walk safely from one business pole to another. The restaurant , the play area , library lounge , as well as the pool and outdoor games are all grouped together! Everything you need to make burgers and pizzas (made to order from the ingredients of your choice) is available on site. Perigourdine salads are decorated with dried duck breast , burgers are generously filled with tasty pieces of beef, local cheese such as cabécou / rocamadour , honey from our forests and finely sliced duck .

Water and games at Camping La Castillonderie

Water is the perfect holiday element? Here, the pool is heated so that even the chilly can soak the toes from May 15 to September 15. 2 paddling pools allow the little ones to cool off, even if they can not swim.

If you like to tease the fish, take your fishing gear to enjoy the 3000m2 fishing pond. It is a private pond that does not require a fishing card! You can introduce children to this art of patience ... Carps, Roach, Perches, enjoy free and unlimited fishing, with respect for fish (NoKill).

In the summer (15 July 17 August), a facilitator offers activities for children and waterpolo games at the pool. The rest of the time, a games room, a library and a living room with projection screen, table football and sofa is installed next to the bar / snack.
